ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Born and raised in North Manchester England, Ged Wilson is a highly accomplished songwriter and multi-instrumentalist often likened to Van Morrison and Elvis Costello.

Blending elements of Blues, Latin, Folk and Jazz with a touch of good humour Ged Wilson makes for a live performance not to be missed.

Like many music lovers of his generation Ged Wilson has a passion for both the emotion of song writing and atmospherics of artists such as Skip James, Nick Drake and Martin Sexton. Ged Wilson has plenty of gig experience having supported the likes of Anysley Lister, Michael Roach and The Animals. He has toured major festivals around the north and beyond, has made radio appearances and has even written the soundtrack for a documentary DVD!

In 2010 at “The Met” in Bury, Ged Wilson launched his new album to a sell-out crowd. The album title, “Forever Now” is taken from a poem by Emily Dickenson, “…forever is made of nows…” Forever Now is a collection of self penned songs taken from everyday life experiences.

The album was recorded at the world famous “Blueprint Studios” in Salford England - home of Elbow and I Am Kloot fame.
