ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
ABOUT THE PROJECT

What You’re After is a compilation of songs written and recorded between November 2005 and August 2007. There’s a little bit of everything here—country (Four Days), folk (Wolfman) and bluesy rock (Some Kind of Voodoo); some true stories (Isaac Pink), some fiction (Mama) and some we’ll never know for sure (You Come Back to Me).

ABOUT THE ARTIST & CONTRIBUTORS

With Beatles albums spinning several feet from his crib (b. 1964), George Brumis couldn’t help but become a British Invasion-inspired, harmony-obsessed singer/songwriter some day. Thanks to music and recording contributions from Steve Dawson (Dolly Varden), and mixing and mastering by DV Productions (think Violent Femmes, Talking Heads and Crash Test Dummies), What You’re After was completed in July of 2009.
