Album Notes
The Noise Poets define a new genre in rock with their album “Don’t Mess With the Sound!”. This is what they call RetroMetro Rock and Roll. Based on the Power Trio concept, Noise Poets take the listener beyond that, emphasizing lyrics and vocals with the psychodelicized influences of the great late-sixties innovators.

Noise Poets present fourteen new and original songs on “Don’t Mess With The Sound!”, ending with just another night on the other side of life. A darker side the listener can feel.

“Don’t Mess With The Sound” captures Noise Poets live sonic adventures, as lead singer, guitarist and songwriter George Douglas Lee conspires with bassist Tony Sassi and drummer Nick Veremis to create the album.

This is one spectacular album, through and through! From the hard driving growling amps, to the technical ability of all the band members, to the storytelling and very intelligent lyrical content, to the vocal performances and SFX, to the engineering and sound quality. Congratulations to George, Tony and Nick on their debut Noise Poets album as a band, and cheers to RetroMetro Rock and Roll! Simply a stellar body of work.
