Album Notes
Although a playwright (Inductee into Texas Playwright's Hall of Fame); Screenwriter (Laughing Boy, available on Netflix); Television and commercials actor; fine artist and Galveston history tour guide, George Douglas Lee's first love is music. He began his musical career in 1972 as a Rock and Roll Singer, and has continned to evolve as a singer and songwriter, having released eleven CD albums with nearly 200 songs registered with ASCAP. Solar Bullet is unusual in that Lee features the remarkable lead vocals of Maddy Herdeman on two songs. Otherwise, it contains his unique and instantly recognizable music, but this time, venturing into the "Swedish Pop" sound of ABBA and Ace of Base. As always, he features compelling lyrics and melodic music.
