ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This country song is based on a true story.

It's about a man out of work 2 years and decides to drive 18 wheelers cross country...
Something he has never done.
Something that reinforces the importance of family.
Something that takes him far from home.

And as it turns out - after completing the necessary paperwork - he has to leave home the day after his Wedding Anniversary, and misses his wife's Birthday, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Of course, once on the road, he's amazed at the things he and his co-drivers see while on the road; beautiful sunsets, breathtaking landscapes, and powerful lightning storms, snow storms, wind storms, and the dangerous combination of all three known as Thundersnow (or Winter Thunderstorms).

So after driving several months - on one of his cross country trips - he misses family so much (his wife and daughter) he puts his heart felt feelings into a song. A song called Huggin’ On Me…

Verse 1
I been drivin’ this great country singin’ country, but this 18 wheeler ain’t what’s on my mind.
‘Cause there's only one place that I want to be, and that’s at home with my girls huggin’ on me.

Family is important.
