Album Notes
Anyone who loves cello music naturally loves the sound of the low strings. However the largest part of music written for the cello is played only on the top 2 strings! After having received many complaints from students that the better you can play, the less the music sounds typical for the cello - are just show off pieces in the higher ranges, because they are difficult and only accessible to advanced players. To say it clearer once a cello player is advanced the joy of playing the nice lower ranges is often a pleasure of the past.
Well, the music on this album is written or transcribed for the beautiful low and mellow range of the cello!
