Cello Unleashed. Wild rhythms, harmonics, double stops, drones, drumming like clap sticks - any former idea of cello sounds was too preconceived (with a calm introduction).

Album Notes
After the calm introduction (to 0.51 min): The cello bow dances or just swishes creating wild rhythms and harmonics, even without using the left hand, which is used for hand drumming (from 2.33 min).

Didgeridoos are often based on the lowest cello note, the "open C". That's what I did here.
All sounds created on the base "C" are natural harmonics of this "C". That are the notes I chose for the melodies.
The piece creates on a solo instrument different aspects of Australian Aboriginal music: The Didgeridoo, the high trembling singing of male voices, the drumming of the clap sticks.
The biggest challenge of multitasking I met so far!

I gave this instrumental piece a firm structure, but it is improvised.
However I have been asked to write it down and will try to do so. It will appear on the sheetmusic page of my linked website.
