ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This first album released by Cambridge-based singer/songwriter Geraint Luff spans drum-heavy electronic rhythms and mellow piano to explore a distinctive blend of sounds.

Having started learning the piano at a young age, Geraint started creating music as an "alternative" to piano practice, and was soon supplied with his first piece of music software. Geraint began programming at around the same time, and (combined with mathematical inclinations) developed a passion for audio and signal processing, sometimes coding his own sounds and audio effects.

From the softer sounds of "Lullaby", to the processed drums of "Tugboat" or the violin-led instrumental "Captive", the tracks on this album explore a range of moods and styles, tied together by occasional synth solos and a love of the piano.
