Gerald sings Sam Cooke
Gerald I truly loved hearing your CD. It reminded me of Sam Cooke's style and delivery. I know this CD will do well. I wish you continued success.

POINTLESS COVER ALBUM
Gerald Alston is one great vocalist as his work with the Manhattans will testify. I have a lot of respect for his talent but why would anyone want to hear covers of the Amazing talent that was Sam Cooke when you can have the original versions?

Covering iconic artists is never a smart plan unless you can top them and that rarely happens.. Find some original material Gerald and stick to working with Blue and the boys!

Great CD. A great job when he sang A Change Is Gonna Come. Sam Cooke would be so proud. Great work Gerald.
