roots of greatness
This is the remastered version of Ghoultown's debut EP, with two extra tracks. More polished versions of some of these tracks are available elsewhere, but these raw versions kick serious tail. If you, like me, are into punk bands like Misfits as well as alt-country, check out this EP. Ghoultown take elements of horror movies, goth, horrorpunk, country, and traditional Mexican music to create their unique sound--and this EP emphasizes the punkier side of things. Seriously, you will think that's Glen Danzig singing more than once!

Western, whiskey snortin' goth rock!
This album is short but oh so sweet (it is an EP after all). An excellent introduction to the hell-bent sounds of Ghoultown for a cheap price. All of the songs gallop hard like a cowboy on the run from the hounds of hell. I really enjoyed all aspects: lyrics, art, music, and atmosphere.
