ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Mark Gilston has been performing traditional folk music for over thirty-five years. His vast repertoire encompasses songs and instrumentals from North America and most of Europe, particularly the British Isles, Scandinavia, and the Balkans. His performances are laced with humor and a wide base of eclectic knowledge. Among the many instruments he plays are concertina, Appalachian dulcimer, guitar, banjo, Bulgarian bagpipes, pennywhistle, ocarina, tambura, etc..

Here in his 7th CD Mark plays some of the most requested material from his concerts. The music is presented in three concert sets. Music from central Europe and the Balkans; music from the British Isles; and music from Sweden and Norway
along with his two most popular encores.

I\'m certain you\'ll enjoy this presentation as much as his enthusiastic audiences.
