ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This triple threat female powerhouse plays pocket-trumpet, sings, composes and leads the successful jazzy, funky pop band Ginetta's Vendetta. Jazz however, always her first love, inspired Ginetta to finally record a Standards CD! Using some of the best players in NYC this CD was recorded in one four hour session and the live "one Take" energy is heard from start to finish..!. The musicians are Danny Walsh on Tenor Saxophone, Ginetta M. on Pocket Trumpet & Vocals, Jon Davis on Piano, Marcello Pellitteri on Drums and Scott Thornton on Acoustic Bass. To hear this CD is to fall in love with jazz all over again!
