Album Notes
THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS/TWELVE GUITARS OF CHRISTMAS was initially released on Nov 1, 1986 in Canada and has received significant radio airplay over the years. Red vinyl and White vinyl promotional copies of the 45 rpm single were issued by RESCUE RECORDS (RRS203) Nanaimo, BC. This 25th Anniversary (2011) re-release reaches a larger market with digitally re-mastered sound.

GLEN FOSTER of Glen Foster Group is the composer/arranger, lead vocalist and plays guitars, keyboards & bass, as well as programming synthesizer and sequencer. Family member Marg Foster sings harmony vocals and 4 year old Freddy wishes us a Merry Christmas at song’s end. Bill Konsorado adds electric Chicago piano, Ken Hamm plays National steel and Oscar Demers plays Emmons Steel guitar.
