ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This original song was written in honor of my nephew, Jay Alexander, who passed away on November 4, 2011, after only 20 years, 7 months and 19 days here on earth. He was a beautiful, smart, talented, athletic young man full of life and love. Everyone who knew him loved him. I wrote this song through the eyes and hearts of Jay’s family - my brother Greg Alexander, his wife Sheila and their daughter Brooke. Fibrolamellar cancer attacks people in their teens and early twenties and is very rare, and, to the best of my knowledge, there have been no survivors to date. Every penny made from this song will go to www.fibrofoundation.org in honor of my nephew, and to help fund research and, hopefully, save lives. I have recorded many songs and CDs in my career and have made my living from music my whole life, but this is the most important thing I have done with and through music. I beg all of you to purchase and download the song - and maybe even make a separate donation - and help saves the lives of young adults like Jay. You can also go to my website - www.glennalexander.com - and my Facebook page - www.facebook.com/glennalexandermusic - for more information and to learn more on other music I have recorded.
