Album Notes
I will be playing Harp at the Fargo Winter Fest
(Feb 10, 2007) with Little Bobby and the Storm.
I also played with them at the 2006 Fargo Blues Festival and the Last Ride Festival in Thief River Falls. I have been working on my current one-man band style for about 9 months. I use a "G" harmonica in a mouth rack, and play a Bodhran (an Irish hand held drum) at the same time.
All the tracks on the CD are solo performances, recorded uncut and unedited. I will do 3 or 4 takes, and take the best one, but basically, if you went to see Glenn "Catfish Bones" Bowen perform solo, this is what you'd hear (on a good night).

Before I took up the harp, I was a playwright, and in 2002,
I received a Fellowship from the llinois Arts Council for the full length musical "The Acts of Cain". I also wrote "Nobody Cares" about a blues harp player.
