Album Notes
Glenn Symmonds is a classic American singer/songwriter who just happens to be a rock star. He is probably most well known as the longtime drummer for legendary rocker Eddie Money, but he has played with a virtual who’s who of the industry’s finest musicians. Glenn went straight from playing in his high school band in Spokane, Washington, to playing with big-time artists in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. His musical background is quite impressive and diverse. He has provided the beat for nearly every genre of musical act: from the Latin sounds of Coke Escovedo... to the jazz infusion of The Reggie Knighton Band and John Klemmer… from the pop/rock of Automatic Man… to the alternative rock of Duncan Sheik… to the blues of Etta James… from the country pop of Juice Newton… to the classic rock of Dave Mason, Elvin Bishop & Steve Perry! He even toured the world with, arguably the best ska band to come out of the United States, The Untouchables. He has been featured on such iconic musical programming as American Bandstand, VH1 and MTV. In addition to being a world-class drummer, Glenn is an exceptional vocalist and a beautifully talented guitarist. Well into his successful music career, Glenn took a break from the non-stop touring to travel Middle America hitting honky-tonk bars and smaller venues with his brother Jeff as The Symmonds Brothers, his Kansas City band The Homewreckers, and more recently as a solo act between Eddie Money gigs. He enjoys putting his own personal touch on many popular classics and crowd-pleasers, but is especially thrilled to perform his own compositions about his travels, observations and life experiences. While his original recordings often fall into several categories of musical styles, they all have some common characteristics. He puts his heart and soul into his writing and production and it shows. His natural musical abilities shine through-out each and every song with a brilliance that is rare. Glenn describes himself as a drummer, guitarist, singer, songwriter, producer, teacher, father and friend, but he is so much more than that. He is a performer who will touch your heart and take you on a musical journey you will be hard-pressed to forget.

Wild Horses is an original composition that was penned by Glenn and his fiancé Tami Landrum as a gift to Glenn's younger sister, who has a heart as big as the Wyoming sky for the Wild Horses of the American prairies. Glenn's sister and brother-in-law, Lynn & Chad Hanson are nature photographers and authors who document the beauty of these precious equine creatures.
