Lady Liberty

by Glen Raphael

This uniquely hilarious nerd-folk album features gorillas, quantum physics, and the Statue of Liberty having a midlife crisis. Lyrics and rhymes are smart and very appealing. Simple, clear, musical, and poetic.

Album Notes
Glen Raphael is a nerd-folk singer-songwriter who covers such varied topics as quantum physics, gorillas, and the Statue of Liberty's midlife crisis. Mostly funny/sweet but occasionally acerbic, his work has been compared to Jonathan Coulton, Tom Lehrer, and Steve Goodman. This is his first album.

"Quantum Entanglement" is a love song based on the many-worlds interpretation of quantum physics.

The pun-filled "Gorilla My Dreams" has been featured on the Doctor Demento show.

Glen has won "Best Original Song" in multiple NCSA events, regularly performs in the New York Funny Songs Festival, and is the current organizer of the New York City Folk Music Meetup.
