Album Notes
Jeff Gold’s “Soul of a Mountain” is easy, yet involves the listener. It’s spiritual, though not exactly new age. It’s more of a mood: a mellow place to go and gather strength and energy, to collect your thoughts. It is tender, soothing, melodic and uplifting. It will refresh both your conscious and unconscious mind. It will take hold of you, and take you away.

A soothing sanctuary of musical peace
Jeff Gold's "Soul of a Mountain" is soothing and comforting. Just reading the titles of the compositions puts me into a mellow state: Promise of Daybreak, Soul of a Mountain, Secrets of Pines, Dance with the Wind and Summer Garden. Jeff creates beautiful imagery through music that is elevating, restorative and calming. I love the combination of beautifully arranged acoustic guitars, piano, strings and flutes. It touches my heart that Jeff's special needs nephew, Russell, finds that these soothing instrumentals help to calm his overstimulation. Russell shares Jeff's music with other friends on the autistic spectrum and they also feel soothed and calmed. Jeff is a true Renaissance musician; he composes and arranges all of his own music, playing the guitars and pianos, and creating other instrumental sounds by computer. He also does his own mixing, mastering and editing. I am very impressed with all of the love and creativity that goes into each and every one of Jeff's CDs. I look forward to staying in touch with Jeff and benefiting from the peaceful influence of his music for the rest of my life. I highly recommend Jeff Gold's "Soul of a Mountain" and all of the rest of his incredible, transcendent musical compositions. Jeff makes the world a better place by sharing his musical talents so generously for all to enjoy in a soothing sanctuary of musical peace. Ariana Vincent, Austin, Texas

We love it! Thanks Jeff.

Keep it on repeat all day; it's the audio equivalent of air freshener.
Each song is distinct, conveying a feeling all its own. Yet the effect of the whole album is a continuous stream of positive, uplifting emotions. When you focus on the music, you hear the artistry of the composer and the composition, but it's hard to keep your mind from wandering. This music sort of carries you away.

Thoroughly enjoyed.
Took a trip in the car and put in the CD. Expected to listen for a few minutes and go on to the next CD. I enjoyed it so much I played it to the end. Great experience for listening, driving, reading, or just relaxing.

Real music from a real artist well derserving a home in any music lovers catalog
When music takes us to our own private Idaho, it is by choice. This cd now accompanies my short list of go-to disks that takes you on a nice ride. Don't look here for paint peeling solos. Enter if you enjoy the best that music delivers to those that appreciate all forms of "good music".

This is simply a reflection of you that sits like a familiar friend that you never want the moment to end. Completely submerged in the sweetness of the notes.
