ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
GONZO DOGS is bunch of mostly very likable people who have recorded their first and maybe even last CD named 12 Tales To Tell only by lucky set of circumstances.
On one warm early afternoon when Dr Kresimir Ristanovic and Dr. have enjoyed their coffee really slowly and discussed relatively clever stuff until one moment from unknown causes Dr Ristanovic have said fateful sentence and started an avalanche of music and other events – Why don't you record a country album? All of those who wouldn't like the CD and who will get the chance to vigorously spit on it this sentence would sound nasty and the question would be absolutely unnecessary. But miracles do happen and on the very same day the plan started to unwrap. One phone call to Vasilije Djokovic, owner of the music studio Kalpa, marked red alert and the band mysteriously started to gather. Not knowing the suffering and temptations he is about to experience, enthusiastic Vasilije has started recording this completely unnecessary and "not knowing why" music exhibitionism. Anyway, fist notes were heard and faithful YES has been spoken to country music. Along with heavy battle against off-keys, technique, beer and other enemies of this music expression, GONZO DOGS have moved up song by song with large losses of hearing, nerves and time. Surviving members remember those hard moments when receiving therapy in their nursing homes spread all over our fatherland. Luckily a couple of sponsors took care of necessary stuff when recording, such as: beer, coffee, beer, coffee, beer, coffee, beer, coffee and other stuff, so our small bunch successfully found the way through various music business tricks. Besides enormous financial means which outreach fantastic figure of $200 in order of this album to be made, I have to mention large group of friends who have contributed this affair to come to an end with fat checques they received with the lump sum of $0. The result of this epic battle against enormous off-keys and sneaky notes stands before you. It's on you now to assess this set of obviously disturbed people who dared to record country music in the middle of Balkans. Go for it! After this nothing can disturb us no more!
Respectfully yours, and only yours favorite band.
