Album Notes
Performing throughout the US and Europe, since the age of 15, Gordon Cotten has recorded and/or toured with: The John Entwistle Band (The Who), KISS, Aztec Two-Step, Jaimo (Allman Bros Band), Johnny Rodriquez, Danica, among many others.

Gordon was tapped on the shoulder by Music at the age of 5, and he has been involved, whether touring, recording, composing or teaching, ever since. He received the Oustanding Musician Award at the Quinnipiac Jazz festival which included a Scholarship to Berklee College of Music.

Gordon had the opportunity to study with legendary piano (and Spiritual) teacher Madame Margaret Chaloff. She taught a Russian method of piano technique that had been passed down through generations of pianists, including Mozart, Beethoven, Czerny, etc. The object is to create a singing tone on the piano. Notables that have also studied her technique include Keith Jarrett, Herbie Hancock, Alan Pasqua, and Steve Kuhn.
