Candlelight Love

by Gordon James

Contemporary jazz lovers will enjoy this CD as it delivers the goods on every track. It has a lot of spunk and energy and as the title would suggest, romance. James knows how to whip his band into exotic colors and stirs up some cool craziness.

Seasoned performer, composer, trumpeter and flugelhornist Gordon James has a unique style of music blending the worlds of jazz, Latin, R&B, Pop and Hip Hop music. A graduate of the Hartt College of Music and the Interlochen Arts Academy James has performed with Johnny Guitar Watson, The Soul Survivor's, Blue Aquarius, Paul Winter, Eric Kloss, Harry Leahey and David Darling. H released his first CD in 1994 "Candlelight Love" which featured pianist arranger Mark Minchello, world renowned guitarist Vic Juris and percussionist Manolo Badrena of Weather Report and Spyro Gyra.
