Album Notes
Canadian born Leo Gosselin is a pioneer and master of a radically new technique on strings.

The Chapman Stick Touchboard represents a revolution in stringed instrument technology.

The 'Stick', designed in 8, 10, and 12 string versions (the right hand tuned like a guitar, the left hand like a cello in reverse), is played percussively, with both hands free to sketch melodic lines in the manner of a keyboard.

Leo plays on a 12 string "Grand Stick" with active electronics and custom EMG pickups.

Leo became fascinated by the Chapman Stick in late 1976 and has been exploring its musical possibilities ever since.

He has received a number of Canada Council and provincial grants as well as other awards for his accomplishments on the 'Stick'.

Having studied at the DickGrove School of Music, Los Angeles and Capilano College in Vancouver, Canada, Leo completed a Diploma in Commercial Music as well as further studies in Jazz.

He has appeared on television, radio, and in many live performances including Expo '86 and the Winnipeg Folk Festival.

More recent appearances include the Tempe Fall Festival of the Arts, the Edmonton International Street Performers Festival, and the Pan American Games.

Leo has recorded four albums to date - the three last available on CD including his most recent album 'Dream Waters'.

Wonderful to listen to while you work
This music is wonderful to listen to while working or playing and as background music during dinner with friends.
It's a great way to relax after a stressful day. Also have Potpourri which is the best.

LOVED "Dream Waters" for background music
I received the CD in good time and have been enjoying it. It's great for background music. Also quite impressed with the creative e-mail which confirmed the order. Wish I were that creative in replying, but, ah me....I'll just have to enjoy your clever confirmation.
