ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Grace Morrison turns deeply personal and historical stories into song for listeners from all walks of life. “With a crystal clear voice and songs that land squarely in your heart, Grace has something truly special,” says producer/performer Jon Evans of Brick Hill Studios. And Jon should know, he has spent his career playing with the very best singer-songwriters of our generation: Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, Ben Folds, and Paula Cole.

Grace is a regular on the national festival circuit and has won a number of prestigious awards including the Eventide Arts Songwriting Competition and the Big Break contest where her music video was played on the season finale of American Idol.

In 2017 Grace released her first full length CD: “I'm The Apple”. The deeply personal album is full of catchy choruses, history, emotion, and storytelling; all key elements of her unique style.

“Grace’s voice is a reflection of herself-pure and true. She is an incredible talent mixing seemingly effortless musicality and original storytelling in the Country Folk and Americana genres.” John Mailloux, Grammy nominated recording engineer.

“I asked Singer Songwriters to submit songs for consideration on the Singer Songwriter Showcase segment of my show, The Hootenanny Cafe. One of those incredible songwriters was Grace Morrison. Ever since I listened to her song, America, I was hooked. Her songs, vocal delivery, melodies are certain to draw the listener in leaving them wanting more and more and more.” Jon Stein, Host/DJ Hootenanny Cafe WTBQ Radio

“Her songs are natural and pure, clear and silky. She has an ability to pick and choose influences and merge them into a sound that may be classified as “pop folk”, but has far more depth and layers to it.” Red Line Roots
