Cosmonada

Grand Old Grizzly's new release "CosmoNada" retains the Americana feel and clever narratives of their first release with a more seasoned flavor. While a profoundly unique experience, fans of ZZTop, Neil Young, Wilco, and Tom Petty will enjoy this album.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Grand Old Grizzly has been compared to “a ride through a cool desert with a stiff drink in hand”. Fronted by principle songwriter Will Thomas, the Houston-based quartet melds rock, folk, country, indie, and more rock, garnering favorable comparisons to Old 97s, Tom Petty, Uncle Tupelo, Neil Young, and Robert Earl Keen.

Their sophomore release finds the band 2 years remove from their debut album and all the wiser. CosmoNada is a bit more Rock N' Roll than GOG's debut release. The narratives are still there, but the band has clearly matured and it shines through in both the production and instrumentation quality of the album.
