Album Notes
Graphic Fiction Heroes perform sophisticated melodic rock.

Originally a songwriting partnership stemming from the core members’ session work on Chris Gibbs’ 2009 solo album Little Empires, GFH released the debut album Who Will Save Us Now in 2012.

The band has performed regularly on the live circuit, including support slots with Mark Seymour and The Zep Boys.

Selected tracks from the album have been featured on 96FM, Mix94.5FM, 89.7FM, HFM,
BOOM Radio and 3RPCFM as well as numerous online radio stations worldwide.

The band won the Country category of the WAM Song of the Year 2013 with the song First And Last.

Graphic Fiction Heroes features:
Chris Gibbs – Vocals, Guitar
Mat Ferguson – Drums
Gareth Hughes – Bass (album and live 2011 – 2012)
Joe Southwell – Bass (live and forthcoming 2016 EP 2012 – onwards)

“Who Will Save Us Now? is a wonderful album that summons up influences as diverse as KISS,
The Beatles, Cheap Trick and more, and digests them whole before processing them into an album which is relentlessly good and deserves to be heard by any fan of melodic rock n’ roll.”
- Shane Pinnegar, 100% Rock Magazine

“This isn’t just an album that stands up on a local level it’s an album that nationally and internationally deserves to be heard.”
- Mark Diggins, The Rock Pit
