"They got the name of the group right on this one -- because the music here is greasy and gritty -- partly deep funk, and partly older soul-styled grooves! The group are a largeish combo with vamping guitar, burning organ, snapping drums, and a nice brace of horns on the top -- and they're joined here by Mixmaster Wolf of Breakestra -- who sings lead vocals on 3 of the EP's 5 tracks! The overall groove is rich and full -- almost with Memphis soul touches at times, but cut down with the leanness of the modern deep funk generation." - Dusty Groove

This is the most funked up CD I heard in years! The CD only lasts 20min - but I hear it all the time. Listen to the drummer! I want mooooooore!!!

I love this funky music. The band has passionately created a unique sound that everyone must hear. It makes me feel very hip in an underground way. Please come out with more albums soon!

greasy beats
if you enjoy listening to the gritty soul and funk of the early days which led into the blaxploitation years then you will be taken back after listening to the GB's 5 song collaboration. the influence of james brown and the meters become apparent from the off. moving your feet was never made easier. put this disc on at a pre-party and you may never make it to the show!

So gooooooddddddddddddd
