ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
In the beginning, there was the meeting of minds between two film students; Cerv (synth) and Hex S. (bass, drum prog.). Maturing through influences such as Depeche Mode, David Bowie, Massive Attack and Skinny Puppy, GDofN rides a sound that pays homage without being stuck in striped pants.

In 1999 Great Deal of Noise released their first self titled demo to great reviews. In 2003, GDofN recorded 13 Convolutions with Neony V.

In 2006 Neony V. left the band to raise a family

After a 2 year search for the right voice, GDofN reconnected with long time friend and collaborator Denton Rock (Santeria/Curl/The Monarchy). Denton's rich, dark voice pulls the listeners through melodic lines, dropping them into irresistible choruses.

The trio has been working together ever since.

Great Deal of Noise is proud to present its new full length album "It Was Now". Listen and enjoy.

Cheers!!
