ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"FirstSongs" represents the first 9 years in the life of a growing church community, the Greater Boston Vineyard, which was established in an urban setting not especially known for its spiritual pursuits. Featuring 11 songs from 5 diverse songwriters (plus a new take on a favorite hymn), this song cycle is rendered by 50 folks from that community, and offers surprising breadth and richness. It's equally suited for personal meditation as for group singing, and the CD contains chord charts so you can use the songs which strike you most in your own context.
