ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Songs From The Blind Trail" is the long awaited solo studio release by singer/songwriter Greg Collier (Silver, The First Edition). This record is full of songs which are a breath of fresh air in a music world full of generic formula songs. Recorded and Mixed in a style reminiscent of the "California Sound". The project was recorded in the Analog and Analog/digital Hybrid domains by Glen Macready, Grammy and Academy Award nominee John Neff (Mulholland Drive, Lost Highway, etc), and Michael Lewis in California, Oregon, and Arizona. It was mixed by Glen Macready, John Neff, and Perry Lancaster. This is a "Full Frequency" album... with textures and dynamics that bring to life the heartfelt emotion of Greg's songs. There is no "auto-tune" anywhere on the project, all the parts are sung and played by real pros with only a small amount of careful, judicious editing. If you like that "Old School" sound of bands like "The Buffalo Springfield", "Poco", "The Eagles", and/or Tom Petty... you will enjoy and appreciate this record.
