ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Chautauqua" , A meeting of the minds to discuss Art , Literature , Politics or favorite cheeseburger toppings. Also the title of Greg Foresman's fifth studio album.
"For me, as an artist , the idea is to create ones own personal "Dark Side Of The Moon" or Sargent Pepper". The one, singular record that exemplifies who you are "
Is Chautauqua Greg's "Dark Side"? .... Don't know. True to form, different generas of music are drawn from to create one unique style. Rock, Country Blues, Chicago Blues and Folk are definitely wellsprings that Greg drinks from on this record.
"all that being said I think this is my most "focused" sounding record to date."
Recording started on this record immediately following the release of "Kodiak" in 2009 and continued through 2012, mostly with the live band , Tim Halcomb on Bass guitar and Aaron Montgomery on drums . Greg then took the basic tracks and finished them at his home studio in Tennessee.
The Greg Foresman Band continues to play dates in their region - Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee. in support of the records whenever Greg is free from his other gig as touring guitarist for Martina Mcbride.
