Album Notes
Meet the “new King of Rockin’ Blues Guitar!” according to the Monterey Bay Blues Festival. Gregg Wright’s awesome guitar playing leaves audiences spellbound, and he serves up plenty of it on his new CD release “King of the Rockin’ Blues!”

Featuring eleven new Wright compositions and an “unplugged” Delta Blues style version of “Between Heaven & Hell,” which appeared originally on Gregg’s “Round One“ CD, “King of the Rockin’ Blues!” is powered by the excellent rhythm section of Ron Battle (Bass), Leon Abner (Drums) Norman Weatherly (Keyboards) and Gregg Wright’s emotion drenched, killer tone guitar. Blues greats Zac Harmon, Coco Montoya, Lester Chambers, Munyungo Jackson and Jimmy Z make guest appearances on the four of the album’s tracks. All contribute spirited, top notch performances.

An expressive, soulful voice, wailing guitar, great playing and twelve great songs put Gregg Wright amongst the world's elite modern Blues guitarists, and makes “King of the Rockin’ Blues!” a must for Blues and music fans alike!
