ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
While better known for his church music, Greg Scheer has been making rock and roll for years. From the post-punk of the Amphibians to the Americana of the New Midwest, he has had his hand in every style of rock (and folk, pop, rap, jazz) as a singer, bassist, guitarist, percussionist and keyboardist.

"Half the Man" brings all theses strands together in a solo project that represents two decades of songwriting and two years of recording. The songs range in theme from murderous cave divers to melancholy Christmas songs, and the music has layer after layer, revealing something new on each listening.

This is pop/rock for connoisseurs.
