Julie Greller has been writing music since she was a teenager. In her senior year of high school, she co-wrote a musical which was produced and performed by students. \"Welcome to the World,\" her first album, utilizes the soothing sounds of violins, oboes, flutes, harps and guitars. Production for the album was handled by Neil Fishman. Music seems to run in her family; her cousin is concert pianist Byron Janis, and her cousin, Steve Horelick, writes the music for \"Reading Rainbow\". Julie works as an educational media specialist and does digital photo restoration on the side. She recently donated 500 copies of her album to the Holy Name Health Care Foundation at Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck, NJ in memory of her doctor, who passed away five years ago at the age of 35 of breast cancer.
