Album Notes
Dare (Verb).
1. To have enough courage (to do something).
2. To defy or challenge (someone to do something).
3. Italian verb: To give.

Having the courage to give the world something unique and special, and saying ‘to hell’ with all obstacles that might stand in the way? That is what Dare Projects are about.

Grey St, which is the main street that runs through the heart of Brisbane’s cultural precinct, involves more than thirty Brisbane artists in total, is a CD Project including nine of Brisbane’s emerging composers, twenty musicians, a couple of sound engineers and one creative designer, all coming together to create new music for the world.

It is a group united behind the idea of personal excellence and the value of new classical/art music. Together we are committed to producing something which demonstrates every single person’s talents, and invites people to enjoy an experience of music that they otherwise would have missed…

Great Australian Music
A lively, ambient collection of original australian music played by a group of talented musicians. I'm inspired by the quality of both the compositions and recordings in this collection. Truly original, truly stunning. It was an honour working with this project. Well done!
