ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A year after Grit Harbour’s critically acclaimed indie rock album, Stranger, comes the first volume out of their new two part project, The Last Outpost. Get lost in their new project as every song is performed intimately live at their studio, The Last Outpost, up in the Santa Monica mountains.

They put down the drums this time around and focused on primarily acoustic and piano driven tracks featuring eccentric piano and guitars, colorful percussion intruments, and their most lyrically powerful album yet. Inspirations include Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, The Beatles, Otis Redding, The Rolling Stones, & Joni Mitchell.

"You lose yourself in the sound." - Stereo Stickman

"I would be in heaven if all of my favorite bands made albums the way Grit Harbour do. They go heads and shoulders above other bands in the retro or alternative-rock circuit. Making songs that take us beyond our own expectations, while retaining its raw beauty and honesty." - Jamsphere Magazine
