ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Todd Groves and Rob Brosh have been playing music together for years. Groves is on the jazz fauclty at the University of Delaware and Brosh is faculty at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Both of these musicians are highly active on the jazz, jam band and show scenes in New York and Philadelphia.

This CD project follows in a long line of duets for horn and drumset improvisation. The CD showcases different sounds and musical textures. The musical concepts were improvised out of small musical ideas. These ideas were grooves, melodic cells, rhythmic modulations, etc... A lot of music is packed into this highly interactive debut CD!
