ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Hang On To Your Soul" started as a collection of acoustic based song demos recorded in Gurshin's home studio. A gig in Nashville and an opportunity to play demos for a major label caused it to morph into a studio project completed in that city with a full band.

The result is a range of stylistic slants from contemporary folk to modern country to poprock. Still, the tracks all share Gurshin's usual solid and traditional approach to songwriting and exciting musical style. This CD provides an excellent look at a talented, developing songwriter.
