ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Habla Blah Blah music is used to teach languages primarily to children, but adults can learn this way, too! Start with your native language, for example English, and listen to the album a few times. Then switch to the target language of your choice - we currently offer Spanish and French. The lyrics are included in the songbook, but your brain will begin to make connections based on the familiarity with the music - the rhythm, tone, and melody. Decoding new sounds, words, and phrases will happen before you even read the translations! The idea is to keep it fun: be silly, try it, make mistakes, play with language and sounds! Before you know it, you will be asking in French, "Where is the bathroom?" or in Spanish, "Do you want to play?", or telling your friend in English to "Give me five!".

Our Spanish album can be used by native speakers to make connections with our English or French music, or the Spanish album can teach a native English or French speaker a new language! All of our music is sung by native speakers, so that the accents are pitch-perfect and real.

Habla Blah Blah music was recorded with artists from around the world touching on their heritage and culture from Mexico, Russia, Greece, the United States of America, France, and Finland. Here's what people are saying about us:

From the Founder of MTV and Nickelodeon, Bob Pittman,
"Kids have an amazing ability to learn languages if given the opportunity. Habla blah blah will be a terrific resource for both kids and their parents, as it uses music to making learning new languages both fun and familiar."

From Lorraine, CDBaby customer, "What a fun and educational CD! My 16 month old daughter danced and danced while the CD played. All the songs had such a good beat I forgot it was kiddie music. We'll both learn a lot from listening."

From an Amazon customer,
"Hoorah Habla! My kids immediately started singing along with the catchy tunes. They sing them as they play around the house. My daughter proudly proclaims she speaks spanish now. This cd is a great introduction to the sounds of the spanish language. My children are toddlers. This is an ideal time for them to learn these sounds as they perfect their pronunciations of other english language sounds and blends."
