Album Notes
Founded in 2009 Hailstone from Munich, Germany are setting out to spread the way of traditional Death Metal to the masses. By combining the finest elements of Old School Death Metal with the legendary melodic-orientated Göteborg style Hailstone celebrate the revival of Extreme Metal history without losing touch the the present. Deeply influenced by bands such as Dismember, At the Gates, Evocation or Demonical Hailstone offers a perfect blend of old school death, stunning hooks and elaborated lyrics.

Having shared the stage with infamous acts like Obituary, Krisiun and a whole European tour with Demonical in October 2013 Hailstone are looking back on a massive amount of live experience which helps them to refine their style further for future devastation!

Hailstone's 1st full-length "The Greater Counterfeit" was released in 2012 and solely received well or really well reviews, even being awarded Demo of the Month by German Metal Hammer magazine! In October 2013 Hailstone released their EP "The Operation" before finally their sophomore album "Epitome" was released in 2017. Epitome takes Hailstone's approach to Death Metal to a whole new level and carved the path for further carnage on the various live shows of Hailstone throughout Germany, Europe and even China.
