ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Dave Hall is an all-American mix of English, Irish, Italian, Norwegian and Arab ancestry. A conservatory-trained composer, his music reflects his education as well as his diverse background, blending elements of classical, rock and folk. A thoughtful composer, he creates sophisticated compositions that defy easy stylistic categorization.

His songs are notable for their lyrics as well. His well-crafted compositions tell stories of small town heroes, rural lovers and city dreamers, all with a deft poetic touch that is at once sympathetic and wise.

Dave’s music is appreciated by those who enjoy hearing a story well and lovingly told. Filled with rich imagery and color and always multi-layered, Dave’s songs continue to satisfy after repeated listening.

\"A Folk-Pop Artist with considerable lyrical clout\" The New York Times
