ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hank Bradley spent his Army years 1963-1965 at Fort Bragg, NC, learning fiddle and banjo playing at fiddlers conventions in North Carolina and Virginia. Back home in California he took an early part in raising the wave of traditional music in and around Berkeley during the later 1960s, including some performances with Doc Watson. The summer of 1970 put him in Yugoslavia and Bulgaria playing fiddle and chasing the local trad music. He was Washington State fiddle champion of 1975, and has made additional study and performing trips to Croatia and Greece. Currently (2016) he lives in Seattle, playing regularly in Greek and Croatian bands and still making up tunes reflecting the various villages of his travels.
