ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hank’s 5th record takes a hard, sharp look at income inequality in the U.S. with songs about workers, unions, the middle class & working poor, and their struggles to survive in the face of a political and economic onslaught by greedy corporate oligarchs and the billionaire class.

Recording began in August 2013 in Hank’s home state of New Jersey, with long time friends, percussionist Marco and drummer Roger Wolford. Additional recording was done in Houston, TX, once again with bassist Thomas Helton and in Terlingua, TX.

The CD’s thirteen tracks include six Woji compositions along with three Woji co-writes and cover versions of Springsteen’s classic, “Factory”, Tracy Chapman’s “Talkin’ Bout A Revolution”, Jack Hardy’s “I Ought To Know” and “Plegaria A Un Labrador” by the great Chilean songwriter and martyr Victor Jara.
