Album Notes
Hannah Hoffman is a singer/songwriter with an edginess that seems to surprise even herself: raw, soulful vocals intertwine with jazzy-rock feels that are reminiscent of an early Tori Amos, Joni Mitchell, Regina Spektor and Bonnie Raitt to name a few. Hoffman has just released her first full-length album, Blur, which delivers listeners an abundance of commanding vocal melodies intertwining with jazzy-rock feels from her piano and the sparse, yet audacious instrumentation supporting her. The project is a collection of songs written over the span of the last six years, which seem to offer listeners an intimate understanding of Hoffman's growth and development as an artist. Having shared the stage with national touring acts such as Antje Duvekot and Hayley Reardon, Hoffman plans to expand her horizons and branch her playing circuit outward to other landscapes across the country.
