Cracking album of traditional music
I am very impressed by the playing on this album. Two musicians obviously enjoying themselves. You can just hear the bow bouncing off the fiddle strings throughout the faster sets of tunes. Dave sympathetically accompanies on the piano, complimenting Hanneke's playing perfectly. This is a great album - buy it NOW

Love the CD, especially the gorgeous waltz at the end.
A wonderful CD. I especially love the final waltz, Daybreak, written by Dave for a friend's wedding.

Great fiddle playing!
This album is a real surprise! I listen to a lot of fiddle music and play myself! Hanneke's fiddle playing is so perfect and excellent and I listen to this CD over and over again to learn as much I can! So, if you are interested in great fiddle playing, you really have to buy this album! (Dave is a great piano player and a great addition to Hanneke's fiddle!)

Scottish Country Dance
This is a superb collection of Scottish Country Dance tunes. Hanneke's playing is very emotional and yet always maintaining the rhythm so necessary for dancing. We have been using it quite a bit at our practice dances and the only drawback is that one tends to get so caught up in the beauty of the music that you forget to dance!

Great music, but a bit slow for us
I love the music on this CD, but I was a bit disappointed to find most of the tracks too slow for the old-time/contra/country dances we like to do. It's still a great CD to listen to, though. Shipping service was very fast too. Thanks!
