ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Harry George Pellegrin, classical guitarist. A performer, composer and teacher, he studied at The Mannes College of Music in Manhattan, with Albert Valdés-Blain and Eliot Fisk, both well-known and respected performers and teachers as well as students of Andrés Segovia. He has performed extensively in New York City and in the Capital District, Tulsa, Oklahoma, St. Louis, Missouri and other cities in the United States. He is the author of numerous books on guitar pedagogy and has had three CD’s released on the PAB label. Since January 2008 he has been a member of the adjunct faculty of Union College in Schenectady, New York. He was installed on the Board of Directors of the Classical Guitar Society of Upstate New York in 2011. Pellegrin is an Artist member of the Monday Musical Club of Albany.

Voyages on a Reflecting Pool is a departure for Mr. Pellegrin. He has composed, recorded and performed original compositions for solo classical guitar for decades. This album is primarily keyboard (piano and synthesizer) and is heavily textured. His music is, as usual, emotive and introspective.
