ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hear Our Songs is the concept of songwriters and recording artists Bobby Bullet and his wife Pam Nesbit. Since 2015, Bobby and Pam have been providing a platform for Lac du Flambeau Wisconsin Elementary School and Middle School students to
lean about song writing as a way of sharing their thoughts and feelings.

Bobby is a recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Native American Music Awards Association and the Indian Summer Music Awards. Bobby and Pam cooperated with the Cultural Connections department of the Lac du Flambeau
Public School to provide a studio for the students to record their eight song creations. Six of the students dubbed themselves The Niijii Singers (Peace Singers) and recorded their vocals in space donated by the Lake of the Torches Casino Resort.

Four more Lac du Flambeau elementary students known as the Ogiichidaa Singers performed two traditional songs-"Flag Song" and "Veteran's Song". Two more songs round out the song list, one of which is "Seven Grandfathers" written by Bobby Bullet, and performed the Niijii singers. "Seven Grandfathers" tell of the traditional Seven Grandfather teachings of wisdom, honesty, truth, bravery, respect, humility, and love.
