ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
www.heatherleeonline.com

Heather Lee is a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, teacher, spiritual seeker, and an emerging creative writer and musician. Her creative work includes poetry, prose, and song that attempt to capture the intensity of human emotion and spirit in reflective, honest, and challenging ways. She is inspired by Scripture, other spiritual teachings, and each moment of life when she is paying proper attention. Her work frequently includes metaphor from the nature, which she finds a great teacher, comfort, and wonder.

She Stands is Heather’s first album and tells a story of transformation and growth where there is always intermingling of beauty with pain, action with waiting, death with life.

In gratitude to courage, compassion, friendship, laughter, truth, and love at work in the universe through family, friends, self, all other creations (especially dogs), and the earth itself.

In memory-Trevor Lee Schmidt and Todd Joseph Konop

Heather lives in Milwaukee, WI with her husband, daughter, son, and two dogs.
