Album Notes
For longtime fans, Helen Hudson's new CD, "Whistle In The Dark," has been an 18 year wait. Mixing elements of folk, country, pop and film, this 12-song collection was recorded with some of the finest 'live' session musicians in Nashville. From the late 70's to the early 90's Helen's recordings (on actual vinyl) were all PICKS in PEOPLE. Her live performances earned her a Campus Entertainer of the Year award and garnered accolades from LA to NY. VARIETY said, "Hudson is enough personality that she could make a living strictly as a talker. As it happens, she's a terrifically talented singer and songwriter." During her long hiatus to raise her daughters, Helen also authored two books and was published in several magazines. When not singing, she speaks around the country on caring for the elderly with Alzheimer's.
