ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"TAN~MAN!" is basically a Zac Brown meets Jerry Reed type song written by Henry and best buddy Stacy Barnes aka "Levi".
Stacy runs his own beach service renting out umbrellas and chairs to tourists and locals on Anastasia Island, Saint Augustine, FL. called "Barney's Beach Service" He's been doing this 25 years, but in addition to his beach service he's a singer and song-writer, and we just had an AWESOME time writing this one together.
But the song is also VERY MUCH named and dedicated to another North Carolinian named Stephen Tanner aka "Tan~Man". It's Tanner who stepped into the picture in 2013 helping me create "WAR HORSE Creations" a secular music ministry. And Stephen has become a very close personal friend as well. Something about those cool Carolina boys helps counter-balance my HOT~HEAD!!!
But I wouldn't be who I am today or where I am today without these two INCREDIBLE friends/brothers in JESUS CHRIST who have lifted me UP when I was down!
The track features some AWESOME friends and members of the SeaHawk brethren ("Fraterna-~sea") including Grammy Award winning Brent Mason on gut-string guitar, B James Lowry ("B~JAMS!") on rhythm guitar, Spady "Spuds" Brannan on bass; Eric Darken on percussion and sensational harmonica playing by Buddy "Rufus" Greene.

Additional help was provided by Lucio Rubino at The Fish Tank Recordings, (Saint Augustine, FL) Aaron Thompson at Absolute Recording (ATL, GA) and "TAN~MAN" was mastered by none other than the great Rodney Mills at Master House in Doraville, GA.

I sure hope you dig what we've done, and I pray someday that i'll...

~~~~seA ya in the SON!~~~
