Stories I've Lived to Tell

by Henry Gross

This CD is a collection of my favorite songs, mostly new, with a few updates of songs I previously recorded. Shannon 2017 is the only studio re recording of my worldwide hit record from 1976 I've ever done.

Album Notes
Give this CD a chance. What have you got to lose? I love these songs. John McLane and I worked tirelessly on the arrangements and are most proud of our work. I've been a "professional" musician since I was 13 years old.. I'm 66!!! I truly think you'll enjoy this record. It's an adventure in many styles of music that have a home in my heart. Rock, Comedy, Pop, Jazz, Theatrical, Folk, you name it. The theme holding it all together is they're all stories I've lived. The redo of "Shannon" called "Shannon 2017" was done slightly differently in the vocal so the two versions wouldn't be confused. I personally hate it when I buy a song I knew and it's not the original version but having said that I believe this one has integrity and does the song justice. As to the rest... I believe you'l be smiling ear to ear. In the immortal words of Richie Valens: "Come On Let's Go". Henry
